Michigan

3D printing and product development, based in Michigan

FORMYQ prints, inspects and ships from a workshop in Michigan. Michigan customers work with us exactly like everyone else — online uploads, reviewed quotes and shipped parts — with the advantage of shorter shipping distances within the state.

Who it's for

  • Michigan businesses needing prototypes, fixtures or small batches
  • Inventors and students in Michigan
  • Automotive-adjacent and manufacturing teams needing non-structural plastic parts and fixtures

How it works

  1. 01

    Start online

Upload a file or send a design brief. There's no need to visit in person.

  2. 02

    Review together

We confirm requirements by email or a scheduled call.

  3. 03

    Made in Michigan

Parts are printed and inspected in our Michigan workshop.

  4. 04

    Shipped to you

In-state shipments typically travel shorter distances. Local pickup is not offered by default; ask if it matters for your project.

What to send us

  • STL files, or photos and measurements for design work
  • Where in Michigan the parts are going (ZIP code)
  • Any timing constraints

Honest limits

  • We don't currently offer walk-in service or a public storefront
  • FDM only — no resin, metal or CNC
  • Not suitable for certified automotive or aerospace production parts

Materials

Everyday, engineering, flexible and fibre-filled materials — see the Filament Buyer's Guide. PLA isn't a good choice for parts left in a car in summer; ASA, PETG or a nylon/carbon-fibre blend usually is. Compare materials.

Questions

Can I pick parts up?

Not by default. If pickup would genuinely help your project, mention it in your request and we'll tell you whether it can be arranged.

Do you work outside Michigan?

Yes. We ship across the US and to most other countries — see International Shipping for how customs and duties work.

Ready to start?

Every request is reviewed by a person before anything is priced or charged.
