Custom 3D printing
Custom 3D printing from your files
Send us a print-ready STL and we'll review it, quote it, print it on FDM equipment in Michigan and ship it to you. Every file is checked by a person before you're charged.
Who it's for
- Engineers and designers who already have CAD
- Makers who need parts without owning a printer
- Teams that need a handful of parts quickly verified for fit
How it works
- 01
Upload your STL
The file opens in your browser immediately so you can check its size and orientation while it uploads privately.
- 02
Confirm units and options
STL files don't store units. Confirm millimetres or inches, then pick material, colour, quantity and quality.
- 03
Get a reviewed quote
We check printability, orientation and support needs, then send an itemised quote you can accept or question.
- 04
Print, inspect, ship
Parts are printed, inspected against what you approved, packed and shipped from Michigan to the US and most other countries.
What to send us
- An STL file per part (binary or ASCII)
- Quantity per part
- Anything critical: mating dimensions, load, temperature, outdoor use
- Your deadline, if you have one
Honest limits
- FDM prints show layer lines; very fine cosmetic detail is better suited to resin, which we don't offer
- Parts must fit our printer's build volume or be split into pieces
- We'll flag geometry that is likely to fail rather than print it anyway
Materials
PLA is the default for prototypes and indoor parts. PETG is tougher and handles more heat and moisture. See the materials page for an honest comparison. Compare materials.
Questions
What if my file has errors?
The viewer flags common problems such as open edges and non-manifold geometry. Minor issues are usually repaired during review; we'll tell you if something needs your attention.
Can I order one part?
Yes. A minimum order value may apply because each job has setup and handling time; it's shown on your quote.
Ready to start?
Every request is reviewed by a person before anything is priced or charged.
