Replacement parts

Broken or discontinued part? We can recreate it.

Clips, knobs, brackets, covers and housings break, and manufacturers stop selling them. We measure your sample or work from photos and dimensions, model a replacement in CAD, and print it — often stronger where the original failed.

Who it's for

  • Equipment and appliance owners
  • Restorers and collectors
  • Businesses keeping older machinery running

How it works

  1. 01

    Show us the part

Photos from several angles next to a ruler, plus key measurements. The broken pieces help too.

  2. 02

    Confirm how it fits

Which features mate with other parts, and what force or heat it sees.

  3. 03

    Model and test-fit

We design the part and print a fit-check version.

  4. 04

    Final print

Once it fits, we print the final part in a suitable material.

What to send us

  • Clear photos with a scale reference
  • Measurements of mating features
  • Make and model of the equipment
  • What caused the original to fail, if known

Honest limits

  • Not for safety-critical parts (brakes, structural, pressure, child-safety items)
  • Parts exposed to high heat, fuel or UV may need materials we don't offer
  • We can't replicate trademarked logos or patented products for resale

Materials

PETG is often a better replacement material than PLA for parts that flex, get warm or are handled frequently. Compare materials.

Questions

Do I need to send the original part?

Not always. Good photos and measurements are often enough. For complex shapes we may ask you to ship the part, and we'll return it.

Is 3D scanning required?

Rarely for simple parts — measuring and modelling is usually more accurate for functional features. See our scanning consultation for complex shapes.
