Cookie Notice

Effective date: October 28, 2026

This notice explains the cookies and browser storage formyq.com uses. We don't use advertising cookies, third-party analytics or tracking pixels, so there's nothing to opt out of for tracking. Everything below is needed to run the site or remember what you did on it.

Cookies

• Sign-in cookies (Supabase, "sb-…") — keep you signed in, including the temporary guest session created when you upload a file or request a quote. Needed for your account, uploads and quotes to work. Last until you sign out or the session expires.
• Materials Expert session (fq_asst) — a random identifier used only to apply fair-use limits to the AI Materials Expert. It's restricted to the assistant's address, can't be read by page scripts, and expires after 24 hours.

Browser storage (stays on your device)

• fq_first_touch (session storage) — remembers the page you landed on and any campaign link (such as utm_source) for this visit, so we can see which channels bring enquiries. It's sent to us only if you submit a form, and is cleared when you close the tab.
• fq-materials-chat (session storage) — holds a Materials Expert conversation you chose to add to your quote request, until you submit or close the tab.
• fq_cart_v1 (local storage) — remembers items in your shop cart on this device.

Anonymous counts

We record simple, anonymous counts of actions such as "upload started" or "quote requested", without cookies and without linking them to you.

Your choices

Because these cookies are strictly necessary, they don't require consent. You can still block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you do, signing in, uploads and quotes won't work properly. If we ever add optional analytics or marketing cookies, we'll ask for your consent first and update this notice.
