Electronics enclosures
Enclosures designed around your electronics
A good enclosure starts from the board, not the box. We design housings around your PCB, connectors, buttons, LEDs, antennas and mounting needs — then print and refine them.
Who it's for
- Hardware startups at development or pilot stage
- IoT and sensor projects
- Makers with a finished board and no case
How it works
- 01
Share the electronics
A board outline (DXF/STEP), photos with a ruler, or the board model from your ECAD tool.
- 02
Define the environment
Indoor or outdoor, mounting method, access needed for buttons, ports and service.
- 03
Design and fit check
We model standoffs, screw bosses or snap fits, cutouts and clearances, then print a fit-check prototype.
- 04
Refine and produce
After you approve the fit, we print the quantity you need and can keep the design ready for reorders.
What to send us
- Board dimensions and mounting hole positions
- Connector, button, LED and antenna locations
- Batteries or cables that must fit
- Indoor/outdoor use and mounting method
Honest limits
- Printed enclosures aren't certified for ingress protection (IP ratings) or flammability ratings unless tested separately
- Snap fits and thin features need allowance for FDM tolerances
- RF performance depends on your antenna design; we keep metal and dense infill away from antenna areas where possible
Materials
PETG is usually the better choice for enclosures that get handled or warm up; PLA is fine for indoor development units. Compare materials.
Questions
Can you match my PCB from KiCad or Altium?
Yes — export the board as a STEP file and we'll design around the actual 3D components.
Can it be waterproof?
We can design gaskets and sealing features, but we can't certify an IP rating without proper testing. We'll be clear about what's been tested.
