Michigan-based, shipping worldwide

International 3D printing & shipping

We print in Michigan and ship to most countries. Here's how international orders work, what customs and import duties mean for you, and where we can't ship.

How it works

International orders, step by step

Ordering from outside the US works just like a US order, with customs paperwork added.

  1. 01

    Upload or describe your part

Upload a 3D file or send a design brief, and tell us the destination country. Your files stay private.

  2. 02

    We review and quote

A person checks your part and confirms the material, price, shipping options and any rules for your destination in a written quote. Nothing is charged until you accept.

  3. 03

    Pay in US dollars

Pay securely through Stripe's hosted checkout. International cards are accepted; your bank converts the amount to your currency.

  4. 04

    Print and inspect

Parts are printed and inspected against what you approved in our Michigan workshop.

  5. 05

    Customs paperwork

We complete the customs declaration and commercial invoice with an honest description, value and tariff (HS) code for your parts.

  6. 06

    Ship with tracking

Your parcel ships with tracking when the carrier provides it. Customs in your country clears it before final delivery.

Customs & duties

Import duties and taxes, explained

You pay import charges on delivery. Our prices are in US dollars and don't include your country's import duties, VAT/GST or customs and brokerage fees. These are set by your country, not by us, and are usually collected by the carrier or postal service before delivery.

Honest declarations. Every parcel carries a customs declaration and commercial invoice describing the parts, their value and their tariff (HS) code. We can't mark orders as gifts or declare a lower value.

Customs can add time. Parcels may be held for inspection or paperwork. We can't control or speed up customs, and we don't guarantee delivery dates.

EU and UK. VAT applies to most imports, including low-value parcels. Expect VAT plus a handling fee from the carrier unless your quote says it's already included.

Refused parcels. If import charges aren't paid, the parcel is usually returned or abandoned. Return shipping and fees may be deducted from any refund.

Check before you order. Your country's customs website can estimate the charges. Ask us for the HS code and declared value if you need them for an estimate.

Where we ship

We ship to most countries

We confirm production time and shipping options for your destination in your quote.

United States

Shipping options and cost are shown in your quote.

Canada & Mexico

Duties and taxes may apply on delivery.

Europe & UK

VAT and any duties are collected by the carrier or customs on delivery.

Rest of world

Transit and customs times vary widely by country.

Where we can't ship

Because of US sanctions and export restrictions, we can't ship to Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, or to Crimea, Sevastopol, and the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics. We also can't sell to people or organisations on US restricted-party lists.

Payments

Paying from outside the US

All prices and payments are in US dollars. Stripe's hosted checkout accepts most international cards; we never see or store your card number. Your bank converts the charge to your currency and may add a foreign transaction fee.

Acceptable use

What we won't print or ship

  • Weapons, firearm parts or accessories, and weapon components.
  • Anything that's illegal to make, own, import or export — in the US or in your country.
  • Items that infringe someone else's patents, trademarks or copyright.

We may decline any job, and we refund anything paid for a job we decline.

FAQ

International shipping questions

Who pays import duties and taxes?

Unless your quote says otherwise, the recipient pays any import duties, VAT/GST and customs or brokerage fees when the parcel arrives (often called DAP or DDU). The carrier or your postal service usually collects them before delivery.

Can you mark the parcel as a gift or declare a lower value?

No. We declare what's in the parcel and what you paid for it, as customs law requires. Under-declaring can lead to fines, delays or seizure.

How long does international delivery take?

It depends on the destination, the carrier and customs, which we don't control. Your quote shows the shipping options available. We don't guarantee delivery dates.

What happens if I refuse to pay the duties?

The parcel is usually returned to us or abandoned, and return shipping costs and fees may be deducted from any refund. Please check your country's import charges before ordering.

Do you charge VAT or GST?

Our prices don't currently include foreign VAT or GST. If your country requires us to collect it, we'll show it on your quote before you pay.

Which currency do you charge in?

US dollars. Your card issuer converts the charge and may add a foreign transaction fee.

Can you ship to a business with an import account or courier account?

Yes — tell us in your quote request and include the account details we should use. We'll confirm whether it works for your destination.
