Small-batch manufacturing
Small batches, made consistently
When you need tens or hundreds of a part — not millions — printing avoids tooling costs and lets you change the design between batches. We focus on consistency: the same approved file, settings and inspection every run.
Who it's for
- Product businesses with short-run items
- Hardware teams between prototype and injection moulding
- Companies replacing small machined or moulded plastic parts
How it works
- 01
Share the part and volumes
Quantities per batch and how often you'll reorder shape the price.
- 02
Sample first
We recommend a small sample batch to agree on appearance and fit.
- 03
Lock the production profile
Approved file version, material, colour and settings are saved.
- 04
Produce and inspect
Each batch is checked against the agreed criteria before shipping.
What to send us
- Part files
- Batch quantity and expected reorder frequency
- Acceptance criteria (critical dimensions, cosmetic surfaces)
- Target unit price, if you have one
Honest limits
- Capacity is finite — large or urgent batches are scheduled honestly, not overpromised
- Above certain volumes injection moulding becomes cheaper per part; we'll tell you if you've reached that point
- FDM parts vary slightly between prints; critical features may need design allowances
Materials
Batches run in a single approved material and colour lot where possible to keep appearance consistent. Compare materials.
