Jigs & fixtures
Jigs and fixtures that fit your process
Printed fixtures are a practical way to locate, hold, check and protect parts during assembly and inspection. They're quick to make, easy to revise, and simple to reorder when they wear out.
Who it's for
- Assembly and production teams
- Quality and inspection staff
- Small manufacturers without an in-house toolroom
How it works
- 01
Describe the task
What the fixture holds, how it's loaded, and what accuracy it needs.
- 02
Send the part geometry
CAD of the workpiece is ideal; a physical sample or detailed measurements can also work.
- 03
Design and trial
We design locating features and clearances, then print a trial fixture for you to test on the line.
- 04
Approve and reorder
Approved fixtures are saved so replacements can be reordered without starting over.
What to send us
- Workpiece CAD or measurements
- How the operator loads and unloads parts
- Forces, chemicals or heat it will see
- How many you need and how often they wear out
Honest limits
- Printed fixtures suit light to moderate loads; high-precision gauging may need machined fixtures
- Wear surfaces may need inserts or periodic replacement
- We don't certify fixtures as calibrated gauges
Materials
PETG is generally preferred for shop-floor fixtures for its toughness. Heat-set threaded inserts can add durable threads where needed. Compare materials.
