Architectural models
Architectural models printed from your files
We print massing studies, context models and presentation pieces from your design exports. The key is preparing the model for the chosen scale so walls, railings and details survive printing.

Who it's for
- Architects and students
- Developers and real-estate teams
- Planners preparing community presentations
How it works
- 01
Choose the scale
Tell us the final model size; thin details may need thickening at small scales.
- 02
Prepare the file
Export a closed (watertight) mesh, or ask us to help prepare it.
- 03
Print in sections
Larger models are split into sections that fit our build volume and assemble cleanly.
- 04
Finish and ship
Parts are cleaned, packed with care and shipped.
What to send us
- STL or other export of the model
- Intended scale and overall size
- Which parts must be removable (e.g. floors, roofs)
- Colour preferences
Honest limits
- Very fine details (mullions, thin railings) may not be printable at small scales
- FDM shows layer lines; it suits massing and study models better than ultra-fine display models
- Painting and finishing beyond basic cleanup aren't offered by default
Materials
PLA is typically used for architectural models thanks to its crisp detail and dimensional stability. Compare materials.
Questions
My model is from Revit/SketchUp/Rhino — will it print?
Often, but exports frequently contain open surfaces and zero-thickness walls. Upload it and the viewer will flag problems; we'll advise on fixes.
How big can the model be?
Larger than our build volume is possible by splitting into sections. We'll propose split lines as part of the quote.
