Industrial Sensor Mount
A tool-free, snap-in retainer that holds a round puck-style wireless sensor on stainless-steel equipment, designed and printed in black FDM for FORMYQ's own VexaOs IoT work.
Problem
Puck-style wireless sensor tags (the Ruuvi-type tags used with VexaOs) need to sit securely on stainless-steel equipment such as walk-in coolers and enclosures, and still come out easily by hand when they need attention or a new spot.
Requirements
Hold the sensor securely without tools. Let it be removed and refitted by hand. Mount flat on a stainless-steel equipment panel. Keep the face of the sensor clear.
Manufacturing notes
Printed in black on FDM printers. Flexible arms around the rim snap over the sensor, and a tab at the base carries the embossed VexaOs name.
